The Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices (POCACOV) has been described by Ex-Super Eagles player, Mutiu Adepoju aka (The Headmaster), POCACOV/La Liga Ambassador as a veritable programme whose aim is to save Nigerian Children and Youths from the claws of cultism, sexual and gender based violence, substance abuse, thuggery/violence and other vices and making or Nation safe and secured.
According to him, the Programme is quite on time and a good one from the Nigeria Police Force.
“I hail the Nigeria Police Force especially the Inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu on POCACOV Inititiative”.
He Further stated that everything is not all about law enforcement because programme like this requires partnership with all stakeholders.
“I like the idea that the programme is community driven and oriented and involving different stakeholders and having POCACOV Volunteer Clubs (PVC) for safer school/community partnership.
“The programme deals with Advocacy, Senstization and Awareness Creation, Re orientation amongst others.
Speaking further, Mutiu advised stakeholders to join hands with the Nigeria Police Force through POCACOV to save Nigeria Children from the Claws of Cultism and other vices.”
