Kogi Police burst notorious kidnap gang, arrest suspected kidnapper, recover firearm 

The Kogi state Police Command said on Wednesday that it’s operatives recently bursted a notorious kidnapper and recovered an automatic pump  action gun with which his gang perpetrates the crime.

Spokesman of the Command, DSP William Aya while giving details of the arrest said, “On 21/3/2020 at about 1500hrs, following a tip off on the activities of kidnappers terrorizing Abobo Community, Okehi LGA, Kogi State and its envisions. 

“The operatives attached to  Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), Kogi State promptly swung into action.

“They arrested one Yunusa Ishaq of the Abobo community with one Emerald Automativ Pump Action gun with Breech No: 123439. 

“During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime. 

“Suspect will be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.”
