Delta State Police Command smash/arrests 7 man gang who specialize in attacking security agents & snatching their weapons; Nab gunrunner.

Following proactive measures put in place to stem criminality in Delta state by CP Hafiz Inuwa, operatives of the command on Wednesday smashed and arrested a gang of seven armed robbery suspects who specialize in attacking the police and other security agents and snatching their weapons.
Also, Police operatives of the command on Wednesday arrested an arms manufacturer and supplier to men of the underworld while busting the arms factory.
Confirming the arrests to Securityking News, CP Inuwa said, ‘At anout 1.15am, early hours of the day, following  Police detectives acting on intelligence pounced on and arrested a notorious suspect who had been on wanted list.
“The suspect is the mastermind behind several attacks on Police officers on duty by his gang, who l succeeded in carting away their arms in Asaba and environs.
The Police said when the mastermind, one Kasie Efacho aged 19 yearz was arrested and was being taken to the station, some of his gang members led by one Chucks Adim 42 years invaded the vicinity with intent to prevent his arrest.
 This led to the arrest of six other suspected gang members namely Bright Odun 24 years, Awele Ndah18YRS, Chikamson Nbanuzu 18years, Chidera Nzuegbu 18years, Chukwuemeka Duru 29years and Chidera Okeleka 14years.

In the arrest of the armed robbery/kidnap suspect and discovery of gun manufacturing den at Patani, the CP said, “
“On Tuesday 4th February 2020, at about 1am, a sustained manhunt of suspects of a kidnap and gun running gang led to the arrest of one Emmanuel Eferobo aged 26 years of Ibesiga community in Patani LGA.
The Police said he made confessional statement that led to arrest of the gun manufacturer, one Ezekiel Idoghor and his accomplice son, Prosper Idogho both of Ibesigha community.
 He noted that further investigations led to a forest where the gun manufacturing den was discovered and all the equipment used in fabricating the armed recovered.
