COVID 19: Depot, Nigerian Army intensify efforts to curb Spreaf of virus in Zazzau emirate

In its effort to forestall the spread of Corona Virus in Zazzau Emirate Council, Depot Nigerian Army has distributed medical kits to some host communities of the Institution.

The Commandant Depot Nigerian Army Major General Sani Mohammed approved and directed the distribution of the preventive kits against Covid-19 to Kakanji and Karau-Karau communities which play host to Depot Nigerian Army field training area.

Mohammed said the gesture is part of the  Nigerian Army  contribution under the leadership of Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai aimed at complimenting the effort of the Federal  Government in tackling the spread of Corona Virus pandemic and also to strengthen the civil-military relationship that exists between Depot Nigerian Army and the host communities. 

General Mohammed further enjoined the community to abide by the rules of Covid-19 lockdown by the Government.

The Acting Commanding Officer Depot Nigerian Army Medical Centre, Captain Manasseh Barde sensitized the communities on the need to regularly wash their hands, keep good personal hygiene and report to the nearest medical facility when they experience any symptoms of Covid-19 to prevent further spread of the virus.

Highlight of the event includes the handing over of the items to the community leaders by the Chief of Staff, Depot Nigerian Army, Colonel Ismail Oloyede on behalf of the Commandant and vote of thanks by Alhaji Ibrahim Isyaku the village head of Karau-Karau.
