Chairperson, 82 Division NAOWA  donates items to widows and patients on admission.

The 82 Division NAOWA Chairperson, Mrs Rashidat Adegboye on Friday, 10 April 2020 donated items to widows of 82 Division at the Warrant Officers and Sergeants Officers Mess Abakpa Military Cantonment Enugu.

This welfare items were given  to the widows to assist and encourage them to stay at home during this period of COVID 19 pandemic and  lockdown”

According to the NAOWA Chairperson, Mrs Rashidat Adegboye, “the welfare was donated  to satisfy  the needs of the widows  during the COVID 19 lockdown and to make sure they are at least comfortable in their homes , I decided to donate the little I can so as to ensure that the widows will not lack at this period of the lockdown.” 

The widows representative Mrs Patience Odowgwu (Assistant coordinator military widows Association Enugu Chapter) commended and appreciated the efforts of the NAOWA Chairperson 82 Division for placing the welfare of the widows as priority ” 

The chairperson has always put us as her priority and we are immensely grateful” she remarked. 

Thereafter she visited the patients in admission at 82 Division Medical  Services and Hospital where she also donated  cartons of Bottles water.
Others are Gift packages containing beverages ,laundry soap,drinks  disinfectants and other  items to encourage them towards quick recovery.
