The Force Commander (FC) Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Maj Gen GU Chibuisi has urged troops of the Force to effectively and optimally put to use the skills acquired during trainings.
He made this remark on Friday 19 May 2023 at Djouguia N’Djamena during the closing ceremony of the Nautical training organised for troops of the MNJTF.
General Chibuisi added that training of troops was a necessary tool for capacity building to enhance their effective performance.
He commended the vibrant and positive attitude of the troops towards training which he said showed their commitment towards the fight against terrorists activities.
The FC further stated that realistic and relevant training has continued to provide troops with requisite skills to confront the terrorists.
This has in turn paved way for a peaceful and secured environment that has enabled internally displaced persons to return to their ancestral homes.
It has also led to an improvement in socio – economic activities in the communities and encouraged many terrorists to surrender to troops.
He therefore charged the troops to ensure total eradication of BH/ISWAP Terrorists hibernating in the Lake Chad Basin region.
Gen Chibuisi expressed his appreciation to the strategic partners for facilitating the training.
