National Security: NAPNHA honours Guards Brigade Commander, others for outstanding contributions

The National Association of President’s NYSC Honours Awardees (NAPNHA) has presented a special Award of excellence to the Commander Guards Brigade, Brigadier General  Mohammed Takuti Usman in recognition of his mentorship and contributions to the  development and  growth of the association.

The Award presentation ceremony was held on Wednesday  17 November 2021 at the National Merit House Banquet Hall, Maitama Abuja. 

The event which featured the inauguration of new Excos as well as new awardees was organised to appreciate and project young future leaders as well as notable individuals who have contributed immensely to national growth and development in their various field of endeavour.

Other notable individuals presented with the special award include the Head of Service of the Federation, Folashade Mejabi, Senator Rochas Okorocha, DG NDLEA, Brig Gen Buba Marwa (Rtd) and the DG NYSC, Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim among others.Also awarded for mentorship was the Commanding Officer 177 Guards Battalion, Col Musa Muazu Aliyu.

The Commander Guards Brigade was represented at the award ceremony by the Deputy Director Army Public Relations Guards Brigade, Capt Godfrey Anebi Abakpa while Commanding Officer 177 Guards Battalion was represented by Capt  Mohammed Kabir.
