Inter-Agency Collaboration: Kogi CP Hosts Navy Commander, NNS Lugard; assures of synergy

The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Ede Ayuba Ekpeji on Thursday 29th April, 2021 played host to the newly deployed Commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship, Lugard, Commodore Clement Atebi at the Command Headquarters, Lokoja.

Commodore Atebi disclosed that his purpose of visit was to seek a way of maintaining the existing relationship between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Navy. 

He commended the Commissioner of Police for his commitment, dedication and passion in the fight against criminality in Kogi State. 

He assured the Commissioner of Police of his total support and collaboration to the Police in any area he can to ensure that, criminal activities is reduced in the State.

The Commissioner of Police while responding to the Navy Commander, reiterated his readiness to always synergize with the Nigerian Navy and other security agencies in the State to ensure adequate security of live and property. 

He assured the Navy Commodore of his maximum support to enable him succeed in his tenure. 

A statement by DSP William Aya,  Police Public Relations Officer quoted the Commissioner of Police wishing the Navy Commander a peaceful and fruitful tenure in Kogi state.
