The Force Commander (FC) Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Maj Gen Gold Chibuisi and the Theatre Commander (TC) Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) Maj Gen Ibrahim Ali on Thursday 18 May 2023 jointly paid an operational visit to troops of MNJTF sectors 3 and 4 taking part in operation Harbin Zuma.
They were briefed on the ongoing operation including achievements and challenges.
Both War Commanderz were adamant that the troops should intensify efforts at defeating and ridding the Lake Chad region of anyctemnant or vestiges of Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists
In his remarks, the FC stated that the visit to the troops in the frontlines was aimed at appraising the conduct of the operations.
The Theatre Commander in his remarks expressed satisfaction with the bravery and zeal exhibited by the troops.
He urged them to be more focused, resilient and ruthless as the operation progresses in order to defeat the remnants of the BH/ISWAP Terrorists in the Lake Chad Basin region.
The FC was accompanied on the visit by the Chief J3 HQ MNJTF Col Kpwang Guy Robert.
