In furtherance of the implementation of Exercise Ayem Akpatuma, the Nigerian Army operation against armed bandits, armed militia, kidnappers and cattle rustlers among other criminality in the North Central states, the Army Headquarters on Tuesday 19th November sent a monitoring team to visit the Exercise Area of Guards Brigade Super Camp at Ukya, Toto, Nasarawa state.
The Army headquarters monitoring team was led by the Commandant, Martin Luther Agwai International Peacekeeping Center, Brigadier General Umar Tama Musa.
Others on the team included Brigadier General UA Muazu, the Chief of Staff at DEPOT Nigerian Army, Zaria, and representative of TRADOC Commander, Col O Adegbe.
The team was received and briefed at the information Center/Operations room and conducted round the Super Camp by the Chief of Staff, Guards Brigade HQ, Col KU Sidi.
