Naval Chief Decorates 11 Rear Admirals, 6 Commodores; Tasks them on Maritime Challenges.
Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas yesterday decorated 11 newly promoted Rear Admirals and 6 Commodores with their new flag ranks just as he called on them to distinguish themselves by finding workable solutions to the myriad of maritime challenges facing the navy.
Ibas urged them to find solutions to social problems facing the nation as it is the the only way to give back to society for their illustrious careers.
The senior officers decorated with the rank of Rear Admirals include; Magaji Danladi, Theadeous Udofia, Mohammed Sani Garba, Markson Kadir, Stanford Enochi, Nglomo Aliyu, and Abubakar Bello Alhassan.
Others are Dogara Albehu, Obi Ofodeli, Akinjide Akinrinade and Ifeola Mohammed.
The Commodores are Navy Commodore Ibrahim Dewu, OM Olotu, HUF Kaoje, EB Duke, SJ Kure and Commodore PN Wuyep.
It will be recalled that the Navy board recently approved the promotion of 11 Rear Admirals, 21 Navy Commodores and 50 Navy Captains as well as other officers of the ranks of Commanders, Lt. Commanders, etc.
